LOUISVILLE, KY (Oct. 13, 2021) Two of Sazerac’s Irish Whiskies were awarded medals at the 2021 Whiskies of the World Competition (WoW). Receiving a Gold medal, distinguishing it as “an excellent product that is among the best,” was Michael Collins Irish Whiskey. Also earning recognition was Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, which claimed a Silver Outstanding medal, meaning the judges unanimously agreed to extra recognition for the high-performing whiskey.

WoW is produced in conjunction with the long-running International Wine & Spirits Competition. This year’s judges consisted of industry experts including spirits evaluators, brand ambassadors, whisky retailers, bartenders and mixologists. Only 35% of entries received a Gold medal at this year’s competition.
