MONTREAL (Aug. 13) – The three medals in the Best Canadian Whisky category were awarded to Royal Canadian Small Batch, High River Canadian Whisky and Caribou Crossing Single Barrel, during the International Whisky Competition 2020.

The first place, Gold Medal went to Royal Canadian Small Batch with 85.7 points. Second place, Silver Medal was delivered to High River Canadian Whisky, and Caribou Crossing Single Barrel earned the third Place, Bronze Medal.

The International Whisky Competition launched in 2010 with a vision of creating a true competition, offering just three medals per category, like the Olympics. The IWC brings the best whiskies from around the world to be tasted and rated by a professional tasting panel.
