LOUISVILLE, KY (April 5, 2022) – The 2022 International Spirits Challenge awarded medals to seven Sazerac rums, including a Gold Medal which went to Jung & Wulff Guyana Rum. Four Silver medals and two Bronze medals were also awarded to Sazerac rums.

            Medals were awarded as follows:

Gold:

·      Jung & Wulff Guyana Rum 

Silver:

·      Jung & Wulff Trinadad Rum

·      Jung &Wulff Barbados

·      Black Magic Rum

·      Cane Run Rum

Bronze:

·      Myers’s Original Dark Rum

·      George Bowman Small Batch Dark Rum

Judging panels at the 2022 ISC were made up of more than 75 experienced industry professionals. Tasting awards were given following 23 days of intense blind tastings. Products’ scores for aroma, appearance, taste and finish were combined to determine placement.
